To function as a storage manager, the app retrieves and displays a list of the applications installed on your device.

• Purpose: To allow you to select apps for cache cleaning and to display storage usage statistics.

• Data Processed: App names, package names, icons, and cache/storage size.

• Storage: This data is processed temporarily in the device's memory and is not transmitted elsewhere.

2. Sensitive Permissions and APIs

To provide its core cleaning functionality, TV Storage Saver requires specific sensitive permissions. We are transparent about why we need them:

2.1 Accessibility Service API

This app uses the Accessibility Service API to automate the cache cleaning process.

• Why we use it: The Accessibility Service allows the app to automatically navigate to the "App Info" settings of selected apps and click the "Clear Cache" button on your behalf. This "robot" functionality saves you from manually clicking through menus for every single app.

• Privacy Declaration:

  • The Accessibility Service is ONLY used to perform clicks on the "Clear Cache" or "Storage" buttons.

  • We DO NOT use this service to read your screen content, capture passwords, read financial information, or track your user activity outside of the cleaning process.

  • We do not store or transmit any data gathered via the Accessibility Service.

2.2 Usage Access (Package Usage Stats)

• Why we use it: To accurately calculate and sort applications by their cache size and storage usage (e.g., "Sort by Largest Cache").

• Privacy Declaration: This permission is strictly used to read file size numbers. It is not used to track your watch history or app usage time.

2.3 Query All Packages

• Why we use it: To generate the dashboard grid showing all your installed apps so you can choose which ones to manage.

3. Third-Party Services

While we do not collect personal data ourselves, the app is built using the Android ecosystem which may include standard diagnostic tools:

• Google Play Services: Used for core application functionality and security updates.

• AdMob (Currently Disabled): While our application code may contain references to advertising SDKs (such as Google AdMob), advertising is currently disabled in this version of the application. No user data is collected for advertising purposes at this time.

4. Data Security

We value your trust in providing us your information. Since our app operates locally and does not transmit your personal files or app data to the internet, your data remains secure on your physical device.

5. Children’s Privacy

TV Storage Saver does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13.
